  Life of a Clown

Patchwork Quilt - Our parents are both Welsh and were the first from both sides of their families to ever cross the Atlantic and immigrate to the US. The rest of our family still lives in Wales and we don't get to see them that often. Wales is a really old country with lots of culture and history that we find fascinating. Old stone castles and tales of Dragons rampaging villages...that sort of thing.  This song is about our Welsh heritage and how it has influenced who we have become today.

Take it Back a While - Sometimes it seems like the stress and pressures of life can overpower the positive things. This song looks back to the days when we first started playing music together in the garage, no earplugs, no worries, just kickin’ ass for ourselves. "Take it Back a While" helps to remind us how fun playing music really is, and not to worry so much about the momentary trials and tribulations.

Bonham of the Pocket - Life is all about balance...No matter how badly we want it to be, nothing will ever be exactly perfect, and realizing that the imperfections in life are what keep it real - can help us find that balance. "Bonham of the Pocket "is about finding your own groove and creating something original from what you discover...even if it's not quite perfect.

Life of a clown is about circus folk and the similarities between their lives, and those of traveling musicians. We are both searching for something. What that something is, we might not be sure of, but it compels us to keep moving forward. The people we meet along the way inspire us, but at the end of the night, they are left behind. The lives we lead off the stage and outside of the tent, for the most part, remain unseen.

We hope you guys enjoy these songs - please spread the word!
